Bobsled Run is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party, Mario Party 2, and Mario Party Superstars.

Overview[edit]

Bobsled Run from Mario Party Superstars.
Gameplay from Mario Party Superstars

Both teams do a bobsled race to the bottom of an icy track. Three speed boosts are found along the way; in Mario Party 2, one of them is on an optional path. If a team falls off the track, that team is disqualified from the minigame. The Mario Party 2 version has fewer guardrails. The team that makes it to the end first wins. The minigame is a draw if either both teams are disqualified or neither team reaches the end goal by five minutes in Mario Party and Mario Party 2 or three minutes in Mario Party Superstars.

After a team wins, if the losing team makes it to the end, that team either slams into a wall in Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars, or flies off a cliff in Mario Party 2. It is possible to stop short of hitting the wall or flying off at the end if the bobsled is slow enough.[citation needed]

Bobsled Run costs 200 coins to buy at the Mini-Game House in Mario Party and 100 coins from Woody in Mario Party 2.
